What makes a society just?
What makes a society just is when everyone works together and that they communicate and interact with each other. A bad society is when no one works together, there is a bad ruler/leader, and they make bad choices. A society is when there are people and they have a ruler such as a mayor. There is a saying called "Society Sucks". This saying is partially true to me on behalf of our society. Everyone here is judged for just what they look like and their personality. A lot of people are two-faced also. A society should be just because then everyone feels safe and happy in their society. Neighbors communicate and are friendly with one another. If a society is unjust, it's bad. No communication, the economy there is terrible, and the ruler makes bad decisions and choices. This will make it even worse if they are not using their money properly and for one's own gain. In a just society, people have normally good behaviors, they have manners, and help when anyone is in need. They do it for the kindness not for the gain. Rewards are what make some others selfish, like do a random act of kindness like cleaning your room unexpectedly and expect a prize or money in return for doing that deed. A just society is a good and healthy society.

The mandate of heaven is the right given to a ruler to have power. I do agree that people and the ruler are responsible for what happens in a society because a ruler makes decisions of what the society does and why. The people help with the decisions and the growth and development of the society by what they do. Without a just ruler a society would be disorganized and in chaos because laws help set ground and keep more things in order.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Confucianism more because setting good examples and having respect for one another is key. Setting a good example for a kid would make them think and know that's right and that they should do it too. Also, Confucianism consists of relationships between others and that's important because you should get along well with others and be kind to everyone to make friendships and build a stronger trust within the society.Doing good makes other want to do good, like the movie Pay it Forward, when a kid did something nice for somebody else, and that person helped another, and it went on like a chain reaction. This shows that there is still some good in the world.
