In order to have a just society many things need to happen. A ruler in society is responsible for keeping peace and just. A leader/ruler should be fair and treat all people equally. The leader should be able to make deals with other countries and leaders and should also be very good with people and deal with people good. These are a few things that are nessesary to have a just society.
I believe that some people are naturally good and naturally bad at some things. Some people are naturally good at things because there parents might have pushed them to try it and there parents were good at that thing too. For instance, Some people may be very good at football but they are horrible at basketball. People may be naturally bad at something because they were not pushed to do it and were never introduced to the thing. This is how people are naturally good and bad at things.
The mandate of heaven is a Chinese theory that explains that people in heaven give rulers the right to rule. I agree in that everyone has a different role and responsibility in society. I feel like in order to be a just society everyone needs to have a part in helping out.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the theory of Confucianism rather than Legalism. I agree with that more because it is looser in rules and not as strict. This is also better because when China tried Legalism it only lasted for 15 years over the many more years of Confucianism. Confucianism requires a better ruler and I believe it is all around better than Legalism.
