What makes society just?
A society is just when it has a good leader, a fair government, and laws that are fair and that people will follow. A ruler is responsible for representing the people and is responsible for their welfare. Another way society is just is when all people are good. In my mind, all people are born indifferent, but we are raised into what we will become. If someone is always yelled at and hit by one of their parents, that person will most likely turn into a bad person because that is just the way they were raised. Laws do not control anything, they are only guidelines. It is illegal for someone to kill another person, yet it happens everyday. Laws are more like warnings that keep people behaving "appropriate" for that particular society. Some "appropriate" laws do not help anyone in the society such as keeping your grass under 3.364382 inches, which is completely unnecessary. Governments are a big issue today. How should governments regulate wealth? In my mind, it is unnecessary for the government to have anything to do with the people's wealth because when governments begin regulating things, it starts to become something we know as "Communism". If society would do what I wrote, I think we would be all better.

The mandate of heaven is the heavenly right for a ruler to rule. I disagree because rulers have too much power and most of their judgments aren't fully representative of the people.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Confucianism more because our minds grow with our surroundings and we are not born a certain way.
