What makes a society just?

I think a good society consists of good and bad people.  Without bad people in our world, there would be little opportunity for the good people to show themselves and prove that they are good.  I think everyone has good inside of them, it is just how you're raised and what you follow that determines how you show it.  I don't think anyone is naturally bad in this world.  A good leader has qualities like, understanding, smart, and willing to accept consequences.  A leader should be responsible for representing his society, and continuing to support and make sure all of his followers believe in what he does.  Honor codes can be rules that make up a society, or something that a society continues to follow everyday.  Honor codes can also represent the society and show the world what they follow.  A society that is just has a leader who remains loyal to his society and his followers.  A just society's followers has good people, and people that can act badly but are overturned by the good people.  A just society also has a government that continues to tax the wealthy people and help the poor by finding jobs or helping with their taxes.

  1. The mandate of heaven granted a ruler the right to be in charge. The followers had to be loyal to their ruler while in return, the ruler had to lead a good government. I agree with this because the people elect this ruler to be in charge for a reason. Once they elect him, people expect the leader to do the things he told his followers that he would do once he was elected.

  2. I support Legalism because I like having a system of laws and rules. Legalism only has a few, important guidelines and if you don't follow them you will get punished, just as you are supposed to.
